BROOKLYN – Four men are facing charges after police said two Southwestern Connecticut men robbed two Killingly men with a BB gun during a marijuana deal Monday afternoon in Brooklyn.

State police said Troop D received a call at 3:25 p.m. regarding an armed robbery in Brooklyn. Police said they found the suspects’ vehicle and spoke to its occupants.

Police said they learned Miles Gill, 21, of 20 Weed Hill Ave., Apt. G, Stamford, and Joel Gonzalez, 18, of 16 Edlie Ave., Apt. FL2, Norwalk, tried to buy marijuana from two individuals, Christopher Simmons, of 10 Prospect St., Apt. E, Danielson, and Jeremy Hammer, 18, of 117 Robinwood Blvd., Rogers, in the Quebec Square housing complex.

During the drug deal, police said Gonzalez pulled out a BB gun and robbed Simmons and Hammer of the marijuana, according to the arrest report.

Gonzalez and Gill were arrested and charged with second-degree robbery, carrying a facsimile firearm and possession of marijuana. They were each released on a $10,000 bond.

Simmons and Hammer were later arrested, police said, and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell. They were released on $5,000 bonds.

All are scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on July 25.
