Before the New England Patriots play a game, we will attempt to predict the team’s inactive players.

Our best guess for Sunday’s game against the Bills:

CB Brandon Browner — Veteran missed Thursday and Friday with an ankle injury, making it unlikely he will play.

DL Dominique Easley — Rookie injured his right shoulder last Sunday against the Bengals and was held out of practice Thursday and Friday.

S Nate Ebner — Special teamer has already been ruled out for the second week in a row after injuring his finger Sept. 29 against the Chiefs.

OL Cameron Fleming — Rookie tackle/guard has already been ruled out for the second week in a row. Similar to Ebner, he injured his finger Sept. 29 against the Chiefs.

LB Dont’a Hightower — He missed Sunday’s win over the Bengals with a left knee injury and was limited all week in practice. We’ll keep him on the list until we see more definitive signs that he’s ready to return.

C Bryan Stork — Rookie starter was limited at practice Thursday then held out of Friday’s practice with a concussion, threatening his availability.

RB James White — The rookie has been active for one game this year, against the Chiefs, and might be edged out again in favor of others who factor more into the special-teams mix.

ACCOUNTABILITY CHECK: It was a fourth straight week in which four players were correctly projected. We had receiver Kenbrell Thompkins on the list before he was waived, but since eight players were selected in the original list with Browner’s potential return off the suspended list in mind, it wasn’t credited.
