The Chiefs are 4-point underdogs hosting the Patriots on MNF.

The Kansas City Chiefs opened a 3-point underdog against the New England Patriots but the line now stands at four points in favor of the Patriots. The Chiefs host the Patriots in Week 4 at Arrowhead on Monday Night Football.

As Andy Reid said in the Chiefs locker room after the Dolphins game, “I hope you’re ready because we got Monday Night Football next!”

The Chiefs are 1-2 with the worst turnover differential while the Patriots are 2-1 with the best turnover differential. Chiefs fans know that Arrowhead can be a magical place at night so I do believe that’s reflected in this point spread.

After the Chiefs hung with the Broncos in Denver last week, you can’t say the Chiefs don’t have a shot against the Patriots. The Chiefs may not have the best home record as of late but weird things can happen to the opponents in night games at Arrowhead. Tamarick Vanover may run a punt back in overtime. Dexter McCluster may take one in his first game. Philip Rivers could fumble. The Chiefs could come with a red zone fourth down of beating the Super Bowl-bound Broncos.

Or they could get blown out 34-3 like the last time they faced New England in primetime. Tyler Palko will not be starting this one though and this one is in KC.

This will be one of the Chiefs 3-4 toughest games all season. The Chiefs have struggled against elite quarterbacks in the past year so playing Tom Brady is clearly going to be a problem.
